Early years Queen St Beaconsfield

Queen Street - Google Maps-21 Queen St Beaconsfield-Googled Sep 2016[GFE]
Hello girls

Friends of mine, Don and Barbara Bailey and daughter, Samantha, and son ??,[ca , rented Queen St from us and then when they left, we sold up and bought 187 Aberdare St Kurri Kurri, til I got a promotion to Principal at Tenterfield for 3 years, then 3 years at Moree as Principal. In the meantime Mum had migrated from scotland and lived with us at Queen St, then with us [and Angus, our wild cat rescued as a kitten from our back street garage at 21 Queen St. Angus was pretty wild, scratching and biting, the girls especially, ti he got tamed[sortoff?]
I spent a few days in Sydney hospital getting my perforation fixed in my left ear, just as i’m getting my right ear fixed now[Aug-Sep 2016] at Westmead private Hospital.-DAD
nb I know that my memory is faulty, but the gist of this story is that we were fortunate to have had such a charmed life with the experiences we had.

She surpassed any initiatives that I had, especially in her NorthWest of NSW as non-sexist education in the hundreds of schools and other contacts that she had in a new and somewhat controversial CONSULTANCY OF NON-SEXIST EDUCATION, located out of Tamworth.
Eleanor then was successful in applying for a national consultancy, based in Sydney, travelling far and wide over `Australia. Eleanor then finished up in that national consultancy, and after a placement back in school teaching at Merrylands High School for  a few months, put her greater knowledge to good use as a a health consultant in the Regional Health Service, operating out of Westmead Public Hospital, as a drug & alcohol Consultant, jus prior to me returning to Sdyenyas a manger of the Director’s unit in Southern Sydney institute, located at `Bankstown towers in 1993, on my 50th birthday year. In the continuing restructures of TAFE, I became a Head of Studies[HOS], operating out of Bankstown for a couple of years [1993-95/6] Then HOS at Padstow TAFE for a few more years[ca1995/6 til ca
Finally retiring in Feb 2003?, age 60.

Maw came out to live with us, in about late 1970[or was it 1971[see shipping records for correct dates]

MY ‘Lady Eleanor Polland, from downtown Armadale in West Lothian  Scotland, was the STAR of this show by seeing that we could do things such as we did, by believing in each other and supporting each other in taking the initiatives that we did.

Our girls, Lisa and Dianne took the roller coaster ride of our travels and travails, with great faith in their Mum and Dad. Both still doing well in their various endeavours.

Maw, us Ellis wains lovely Mum, came out on Whitlam’s Family Reunion program in the MV  ??

Our girls, Lisa and Dianne,

Google maps show the house still there.
