The young Geordie's days

15 Gateside Ave where us Ellis's lived after flitting from Bonnybrig High St( where I was born 1943)
Gateside was a wains paradise, wae parks all around and the River Bonny flowing out to the Forth channel one way & the Forth & Clyde Canal crossing the country from west Glasgow area to ending in the Forth river on the continent end just up from Edinburgh.
When i would come home in the wee sma jours after walking miles from the dancing at places like Armadale, I would sclimmy over the front door balcony and slide in the unlocked upstairs windae head first and land on the upstairs landing.
I did this one really early AM and my stuff in my pocket dropped onto the inside floor, wakening Rinty and the family! Wha's there, ma faithir shouted frae his bed, alert tae any intrusions specially since there was a huge police hunt for Manual the mass murderer. Jist me Faithir a said. His reply was ' a want tae talk wae you when ye get back frae wirk the day!
Ah wiz in deep #####
Blame yir Maw, as ma new girlfriend, she's tae blame fir ma indiscretions!!!!
