Alexandra holds lovely memories for them as we lived there in the 1970's.
After a lovely brunch Megan took them by the old house in Queen St. Seemingly Dad jumped out and knocked on the door to ask about the house and take some photos.
He waxed lyrical about the day later in a text to me:Lisa. You and John would have to have 3 of the most loveable young people in creation, Megan, Michelle and Cameron. They made Mum and I very special people today.
What a bonza day we had at the Sydney markets. It was most certainly because of their kind and thoughtful hospitality. In the words of an old mate, Darby Munro, a fellow Tech Teacher, 'Their Bloods worth bottlin'
Mum and I had a whale of a time. It just seemed to be that their spoiling of Mum and I, was their way of saying thanks for whatever we had done for them over time!
Words do not express enough of our absolute love for their thoughtfulness and kindness in their hospitality.
It was a Bonza day all round.
