Bonnybridge [on the road to Glasgow], where GFE was born. Where the two
girls are standing at the wall, you can see a dark brown archway, which
is a Pend[TUNNEL] under the top row of ‘flats' into an inner common
square with stairs to the upper building front doors.
Behind this building is a church spire, where Grannie’s funeral service took place .
BETWEEN THE PEND AND THE TWO GIRLS, is Wull Smiths the butchers. Beside that is the ‘flat’ where oor John and myself were born.
