Dads boilermaking trade

Just a wee bit of info about my trade, from my 1958-1963 apprenticeship at Mitchell and Russell’s Foundry in bonnybridge[Scotland] to working in Sydney 1963-1970, in about six different workplaces, from Botany to Alexandria as a Boilermaker, Sheetmetalworker, Welder et al, making Cranes, Boilers, Conveyors.

I was a part of the engineering people who made Cranes$1million each] [6 went to new york to build the New york towers, which were later destroyed by terrorists. Eric Favelle got the idea of this revolutionary crane setup from Professor Julias Sumner miller who showed counterbalancing effects that made the cranes safe in winds, high up in the sky.

Also made conveyors, some of which i installed in Tooths or Tooheys brewery down at Sydney. As well as walkways at the manly Daily newspaper facility[Swimming at lunch time in the ocean and sydney Harbour at manly.

Installed walkways and other bits and pieces at a Brothel in kings Cross[Nae comment frae you pair]]

So see, yir Faithir wiz a busy man
