War and migration - thoughts from Dad

This was what it was like in post ww2 in Scotland
I would have been about 6yrs old when this photo was taken
What a difference a war makes
That's why need to have peace negotiations prior to a war
They were tough times, but we didn't know that when living through that!
And it resonated through to my wanting to leave Scotland. Hence the mass migrations
